Artist Studio Model
As a production design student, I began this project as an imagining of an artist studio for the filmmaker Agnes Varda. At first this project started as a kind of thought experiment into the specific time period and location of an artist's life, but after graduating I returned to the project to expand on it more.
This 3D model done in SketchUp is an elaboration on my initial models of the exterior of an artsy-Parisian inspired house boat that I imagined. This project hypothesized the kind of space Agnes Varda may have lived in if she were to stay in Sausolito in the houseboat community during the 60’s that she explored in her short film Uncle Yanco.
